2026 Season Proposals Needed!

The Dolphin Players are now soliciting proposals for productions and directors for the 2026 season. The Dolphin Playhouse is an intimate theater located in the historic Empire district of Coos Bay. Our season typically includes six productions, and the Dolphin Players are open to all genres.

Past productions have ranged from Cabaret to classic radio. The selection process begins with submission of a play proposal, followed by a presentation to the Dolphin Players board of directors. If a proposal is selected to be part of the season, the director will be supported throughout the process by Playhouse staff. Experience in directing is not required, and unpublished manuscripts will be considered.

For more information and a play proposal form, please contact Alice Carlson, Managing Director, by email at dolphinplayers@gmail.com or leave a message at the theater by calling 541-808-2611.

Please Note: 2025 Ticket Price Increase

First Ticket Increase Since Opening

Since opening our doors in July of 2012, there has not been a single increase to our ticket prices. Since that time, many of our operating costs have doubled, but we have and will continue to be determined to provide affordable live theater to our community. Because of these increases, we have reluctantly made the decision to slightly increase the cost of our admission. The new pricing is as follows:

 Adults - $12 | Seniors/Students - $10 | Children Under 12 - $8
Season/Flex Tickets (6 admissions for the price of 5) for Adults - $60, and Seniors - $50

We will continue to offer a family rate, and the first Saturday of every run will continue to offer our "Pay What You Can" night, with admission available for your open donation.

Thank you for your understanding, and for supporting the Dolphin Playhouse and live community theatre.
